Norm MacDonald to host High Stakes Poker

game

On Monday, GSN announced that Norm MacDonald will replace Gabe Kaplan as the host of High Stakes Poker for its seventh season. MacDonald, a Canadian actor, writer, and stand-up comic known best for his five seasons on SNL, is an avid poker player. He placed 20th out of 827 contenders in the 2007 World Series of Poker $3,000 No Limit Texas Hold ‘em event, winning $14,608. MacDonald is a regular participant at the WSOP Main Event.
Funnyman MacDonald will be taking over from longtime host Gabe Kaplan. Kaplan, a highly successful poker player, is known for his poker knowledge and ability to deconstruct hands for viewers. While MacDonald may not possess the same analytical aptitude, he will bring humor and an edge to the show’s commentary, in a move by GSN to appeal to a broader audience.
The player lineup will also see a shift. The show will feature an appearance of Johnny Chan, only his second on the show, alongside returning greats Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, and Phil Laak. Due to sponsorship conflicts, notable absences will include Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, and Patrik Antonius.
High Stakes Poker Season Seven will have a $200k minimum buy-in, $500k maximum buy-in, with blinds remaining at $400/$800 and $100 antes. GSN stated in their press release that, “Straddles were frequent and often multiple. Several players were felted, so rebuys and add-ons were prevalent.” Season Seven will premier on February 26.
The filming of Season 7 of GSN’s High Stakes Poker has begun. This season is sure to bring more exciting cash game action as familiar and new faces join the cast of players this season.
High Stakes Poker is GSN’s wildly popular cash-game crypto gambling show. The show, now sponsored by PokerStars is in its seventh season and is as popular as ever. Usually filmed at The Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas, this season is being filmed at The Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip. Fans of the show love it because of the crazy action the show has, including a $919,000 pot between Tom Dwan and Barry Greenstein.
While an official list of this season’s players has not been released, fans of the show are finding other ways to identify who will be surrounding the felt this season. Andrew “good2cu” Robl’s twitter read “On set for high stakes poker. Going to be quite a season!” Haralabos “Haralabob” Voulgaris made a twitter post yesterday stating “On my way to Las Vegas to play in GSN’s High Stakes Poker. Haven’t played live poker since July, should be fun.” Others with twitter posts about playing on the show were: Barry Greenstein, WSOP 2010 Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel, Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, Jason Mercier and Phil Galfond, who’s twitter post simply said “HSP!”
As we reported earlier, the most noticeable names missing from the list are Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and other Team Full Tilt members. Barry Greenstein, a PokerStars Team Pro member, reported…

On the tournament trail, January 21st

game

It has been a positively sick week, with another millionaire made in the poker world, and two other main events of series going on. The Aussie Millions have come to a close, the WPT World Poker Open is heading into Day 2, and the World Series of togel  Poker Circuit in Tunica will be having its final table tomorrow.

However, the ending to the Aussie Millions wasn’t all positive. A young poker player from Oklahoma got robbed early Monday morning in Australia. Jason Potter, 22, was robbed at knifepoint for $30,000. Potter made a deep run in the Aussie Millions, finishing 31st. Due to the fact that the robbery occurred close to the Crown Casino, there is a chance a surveillance video might have been able to pick up what transpired.

On the better side of things, the Aussie Millions Main Event just wrapped up this past weekend. Going into the final table of 7, there was only one notable pro: Erik Seidel. An extremely wily and experienced veteran, Seidel has won 8 bracelets, good for a tied fourth on the all time list. Down from 780 original runners, here’s what the final table and payouts looked like.

Michael Chrisanthopoulos – 6,806,000

Antonio Casale – 1,995,000

Nino Marotta – 1,649,000

Erik Seidel – 1,491,000

Alexander Kostritsyn – 1,439,000

Peter Mobbs – 1,357,000

Peter Ling – 877,000

Final Table Payouts:

1st: $1,650,000 AUD

2nd: $1,000,000 AUD

3rd: $700,000 AUD

4th: $500,000 AUD

5th: $400,000 AUD

6th: $300,000 AUD

7th: $225,000 AUD

Even with the massive chip lead, Michael Chrisanthopoulos had to have Erik Seidel on his mind. The kind of experience he possessed over the table was amazing. However, time would tell whether this veteran’s experience was enough to work through the final table and the massive chip leader.

Just thirteen hands in, the final table lost its first player. Alexander Kostritsyn knocked out Peter Mobbs when Kostritsyn’s AK held up against Mobbs’ AJ. Mobbs exited in 7th place, winning $225,000.

Kostritsyn was also responsible for the final table’s second bustout. In a pot that was worth roughly 1/3 of the chips in play – 5 million, Alexander knocked out Antonio Casale, when his aces held up against Casale’s jacks. Casale took home $300,000 for his efforts. Here’s what the chip counts looked like after that huge hand.

Michael Chrisanthopoulos – 6,535,000

Alexander Kostritsyn – 5,545,000

Erik Seidel – 1,430,000

Peter Ling – 1,295,000

Nino Marotta – 805,000

With his two bustouts, Kostritsyn was surging. Chrisanthopoulos was still the chip leader, though not by nearly as wide of a margin as before. Seidel was looming in 3rd, with Ling and Marotta as the short stacks.

Just three hands later, Kostritsyn would claim his third victim. Nino Marotta busted out in 5th place when his QT couldn’t suck out against Kostritsyn’s AJ on a JT3 flop. He claimed $400,000.

After the first 35 hands of the final table, here’s how the table was shaping up.

Michael Chrisanthopoulos – 6,435,000

Alexander Kostritsyn – 6,280,000

Peter Ling – 1,445,000

Erik Seidel – 1,385,000

35 hands later, Peter Ling sang his swan song. After calling a pre flop raise with A5, he check raised Michael Chrisanthopoulos’s bet on an AKT flop, and was dismayed to see Chrisanthopoulos’s AK. Drawing to runners, Ling didn’t get there, and was sent home in 4th place. He won $500,000.

Chrisanthopoulos and Kostritsyn had been running away with the final table, with Seidel handcuffed and cold decked. This changed at hand #80…

Seidel got it in with 22 vs. Michael’s AJ for a 3 million dollar pre flop. Michael flopped a Jack to take the lead, however…the river was a deuce, bringing Seidel back into the tournament. From this point on, Michael began to bleed off chips, and doubling up, continuing this trend until hand #112…

After Seidel had made his standard button raise, Chrisanthopoulos called from the small blind, Kostritsyn reraised, Seidel folded, and Chrisanthopoulos went all in. Unfortunately for Michael, he had made an ill-timed squeeze play with his A6 suited, as he had run into Kostritsyn’s tens. No aces or clubs came for Chrisanthopoulos and the former chipleader busted in 3rd place, earning $700,000.

The Russian unknown vs. The American pro. This would likely be Kostritsyn’s last day as an unknown, and if he could pull off this huge win heads up vs. Erik Seidel, that would cement it. Starting heads up, he had nearly 4 million more than Seidel, with the stacks at 9,925,000 for Kostritsyn, and 5,585,000 for Seidel. However, after over 50 hands and hours of heads up poker, Erik Seidel finally succumbed to Alexander Kostritsyn. Down 12.3 million to 3.3 million, Seidel was in trouble. After making a raise preflop, he got pot stuck on a J87 flop with AQ vs. Kostritsyn’s J9. Unfortunately for him, no help arrived and he finished in 2nd place for a solid $1 million dollar payday. However, the glory belonged to Kostritsyn. After a long, winding week of poker, he had the bragging rights, and $1,650,000 on top of it. Not a bad week of poker for the young Russian.

Back to Tunica, the WSOP circuit event is coming to an end tomorrow, with the Main Event final table set. Such notables as Tom Schneider, and Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich will fight for the over $428 K first place prize. Notable bustouts leading up to the final table included, “Captain” Tom Franklin, Jeremiah “Believer82” Vinsant, and Josh Arieh. The final table starts at 12 PM CST tomorrow.

Both the WSOP Circuit event and the WPT World Poker Open suffered from the Aussie Millions, and being right next to one another. Only 257 have shown up for the WPT event, with 144 heading into Day 2, from Day 1A and 1B. Day 2 starts tomorrow, and notables such as Dutch Boyd, Nam Le, David Pham, Kido Pham, Humberto Brenes, Chad Brown, Erick Lindgren, T.J. Cloutier, and Brett “Gank” Jungblutt have lots of chips to work with going into Day 2. At the end of the road lies an $892 K first place prize.

That’s all for this week, good luck to everyone at the tables in the coming week!

A Word on togel hongkong hari ini Tournaments

game

Though poker and slots seem to get most of the tournament action, casinos offer blackjack tournaments from time to time as well. Blackjack tournaments can be found at land-based and online casinos and they are a lot of fun.

Though they are fun, the game isn’t played exactly the same. Different strategies are needed to be successful at blackjack tournaments. For one thing, in tournaments you are actually competing against other players. In a traditional togel hongkong hari ini game, it is only you against the dealer. If the other players win as well then hey, good for them! Not so in the tournaments. In the tournaments, another player winning is bad for you. Though your win still counts the same, the players with the most wins earn prizes, so you want to win more often than the other players.

What that means is you should alter your betting strategy. Normally I preach flat betting, which is to bet the same amount on each hand, not altering it because you’re winning or losing. That conservative approach to betting is great for the long run, but it is not a good idea in tournaments. In blackjack tournaments, you should be more aggressive.

The tournaments are normally played in multiple rounds, with only the top players in each round advancing to the next. You don’t win anything if you don’t get to the final round. Therefore, you need to play more aggressively and bet with an all or nothing attitude. If you’re behind on the leader board, become even more aggressive. Betting larger amounts can help you catch up and get back into the game. If you have a comfortable lead, on the other hand, it might be a good idea to lower your bet so you can avoid losing ground. Then if other players start catching up, adjust your wager accordingly.

Some online casinos offer another kind of blackjack tournament that is quite different. It is a head-to-head tournament, where two players square off against each other rather than the players against the dealer. In this case, there are no set drawing rules (such as stand on 17) and both players can make their own decisions like a normal player. The player who wins the most hands head-to-head advances and plays against another player.

Whatever type of game you play, blackjack tournaments are fun and a good way of playing blackjack with a reduced risk. The risk is reduced because, in most cases, you don’t wager your own money on each hand. Instead, you pay an entry fee to join the tournament and are given an amount of chips to use on the house. At the end, you don’t get to keep any unused chips, but those players near the top of the leader board take home prizes. The prize pool is normally cash made up of the entry fees of the various players. To take part in the fun, find a blackjack tournament at your favorite online or brick and mortar casino.…

Review of The Frugal Gambler

game

Probably the most famous casino “low roller” is Jean Scott, dubbed the Queen of Ku Pon by the Las Vegas Advisor. Ms. Scott even demonstrated her skill (and won a car) for CBS’s 48 Hours TV show. If there is anyone who knows how to get more for less in the Las Vegas system, I can’t imagine who it might be.

I was wondering what she’d write about, seeing as how the “getting something for nothing in Las Vegas” literary genre was already pretty well covered. What new tricks would the Queen tell us about? What new information will bring me up to date? What does she know that I don’t?

The book is very realistic about what it takes to get ahead. It’s also very accommodating to various readers’ preferences and styles. If one doesn’t want to play exclusively positive expectation video poker, she tells the reader how to get as far as possible playing the slots, or craps, or whatever the reader might want to do. Scott is very up front that this is still gambling, and one can still lose more than what one might expect. At the same time there is some serious good advice about how to read slot clubs, how to ask casino employees for what one wants, and what to read for the best advice on how to play a winning game of video poker.

Despite this good advice, and it is sound and well delivered, there isn’t as much new information here as the reader might have hoped. A lot of this information is already present in Anthony Curtis’ Bargain City and Jeffrey Compton’s The Las Vegas Advisor Guide to Slot Clubs. If one has already read these books, I’m not sure there’s enough new here to be worth the time and energy. Again, nothing here is bad and there is new information, just not enough for me to overwhelmingly recommend reading this book.

New topics Scott does cover include how (and why) to get bumped from an airline flight, tips to longer term (more than a week) stays in Las Vegas, and taking advantage of Slot Gacor casino promotions. If any of this information is of particular interest, that would be enough to push me to truly recommend this book. Otherwise, it’s good only if the other two books mentioned above aren’t already familiar. It’s also worthwhile to note that very little of the book is specific to the here and now. As long as casinos continue to provide full pay video poker machines and slot clubs, the information in this book will retain its value.

Capsule:
This is a good book about how to get the most from Las Vegas by receiving comps. The advice in this book is sound and it communicates its ideas well, but it doesn’t add a whole lot new on the topic. There are good ideas here, and if one doesn’t already understand how to use the comp system to offset the costs of a Las Vegas vacation, The Frugal Gambler is a very good value. Otherwise, the book provides significant new information only on a few select topics.…

Amongst the new crop of stars to appear each week will be Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, John Spencer, Richard Schiff and Nicole Sullivan making up a total of twenty five players.

Commentating during the event will be poker’s own Phil Gordon. Gordon is a world class poker player who has won nearly $1,000,000 in poker tournaments in the last two years including a 4th place finish in the 2001 World Series of Poker and a first plae finish in the World Poker Tour: Aruba (professional division) in 2002.

My job? I play poker online

I play poker onlineWhen I meet someone new and they ask what I do, I just say ‘I play poker’.

I used to have more of a problem with it, not least because I’d end up explaining it at length, as people are often more interested in online poker than in talking about what they do.

I make about $40 an hour on average and play poker 30 hours a week – it’s not quite a full-time job, and it leaves me time to do a bit of web consultancy, read a lot of books, and go off on holiday without having to arrange leave.

I just got back from several weeks in Puerto Rico, and I’m happy to say that I didn’t miss playing poker at all – that was quite reassuring.

If you’re familiar with gambling in casinos, playing poker online is essentially the same thing.

Unlike at a bricks and mortar casino, online you can play at more than one table at a time. So sometimes I log into more than one poker site at a time, which means that I don’t have to be as good a player to make the same amount of money.

‘My poker face’

But in some ways, online poker is a very different Unique Casino game. It’s a lot faster, as there’s no banter around the table. For casino players, this interplay is a central element of the game, whereas for me it’s more mathematical.

In fact, at a casino I’d be at a disadvantage because these people know all about body language. I don’t even know if I’ve got a poker face.

One of the few times I went to a casino, I got a royal flush – it does happen occasionally – and my hands were shaking so much that everyone realised something was up. [The odds of being dealt this winning hand are about 650,000 to one]

But online, I could be shaking like a leaf in front of the computer, yet it would just look like I was making a normal raise.

I’m trying to write a computer program to help me play better. While I could try to program it to play while I’m not there, I’m not sure this is my aim. I don’t think I’m a good enough player to write a winning program, and other players probably wouldn’t like playing against a robot.

There’s nothing secret about the way I play. The most common mistake that beginners make is not folding [stopping betting on a weak hand] early enough. I had to get over that and learn to sit a hand out.

‘I lost $5,000’

My biggest wins have been about the same as my biggest losses – just hopefully they occur a bit more frequently. In one day I’ve lost close to $5,000, but I’ve also won about the same amount. One day I’m buying the beer, the next I’m getting my friends to buy it.

My first big loss came when I had first started to get cocky. I thought I was doing very well, when in fact I wasn’t.

Over about three months, a friend and I had built up about $4,000 from an initial pool of $300, and I lost $1,500 in one day.

I had a huge loss of confidence. I read a bunch of books and joined a couple of online forums on poker strategies. Armed with that new knowledge I went back to playing about a year ago.

Even now, I’m constantly evaluating if I really know what I’m doing. But there’s always days when I can do no wrong, when every bluff I make goes my way. I just have to treat each and every hand exactly like the one before.

I consider gambling as something to tide me over while I figure out what it is that I want to do next. So far it hasn’t worked out quite as I’d hoped – having no direction isn’t a great way to get direction – but it’s been a wonderful vacation.

Kesalahan Permainan Togel Hari Ini

game

Mengapa tangan begitu mudah dibaca ketika Anda TIDAK terlibat? Pertanyaan bagus!

Creative Writing Jobs at Translation Services UK

business

To some creative writing is just a hobby but to others it is their career. Creative writing is incredibly fun and is a great stress release from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It is not an easy industry to get into; however some of us are fortunate enough to be able to earn money for doing creative writing. In this guide we shall look at the sorts of jobs you can get in creative writing and how to find them and apply for them.

Jobs 1

Types of Creative Writing Jobs

Creative writing is a very broad term, and essentially all types of writing are creative. To be a creative writer you do not need to write fiction novels – there are so many more jobs where you can make the most of your writing skills.

One such job is screen writing. Every television drama, comedy and soap opera has a creative writer behind it. They all need someone to write the scripts for the characters and come up with different plots and storylines. This can be an incredibly demanding job – particularly if working on a daily soap opera that needs constant fresh storylines each and every day. Screen writing is a fantastic creative writing job for anyone with a vivid imagination or those with a great sense of humor (if working on comedy).

Another type of creative writing job is freelance writing. Many writers work from home and may write novels in various different genres. On the side they may also write short stories for newspapers and magazines. For those who are talented, freelance writing is a fantastic career opportunity and gives you a lot of freedom in your job.

There are also creative writing jobs within education and publishing. Who do you think writes children’s books? Who writes the blurbs on the back of books? Who writes all of the information in marketing campaigns that draws in the customers? These are all jobs that creative writers are hired to do! More about Translation Services UK

Creative writing skills can be used within almost all job sectors. Even if you are working as a bank manager you can use your creative writing skills to draft letters and reports. If you are working in marketing you can use your creative writing skills to write marketing campaigns and press releases. So even if your job isn’t directly related to creative writing there are always ways to use your skills in a less direct way.

Jobs 2

What Skills You Need to Work in Creative Writing

There are many skills required to be successful in the creative writing field. Not only are talent and skill important but dedication and self-motivation. This is particularly important when you are working freelance. Many people find it hard to motivate themselves to write when they are at home as there are so many other distractions.

Creative writers also need to be adaptable. You can’t be too picky about what jobs you want to do or what specific genre you want to write about. You need to be able to work to a project specification and adapt your skills to suit the project you are giving. If you’re not adaptable you will be limiting your job opportunities.

Jobs 3

Where to Find Creative Writing Jobs

There are plenty of places to find creative writing jobs and one of the most popular places these days is on the internet.

The internet is a fantastic resource for finding jobs as well as for looking for career advice and direction. There are dozens of websites that are specifically catered towards those looking for careers in creative writing so these websites are a great place to start.

You may also want to look in your local newspaper to see if any jobs are available in creative writing in your area.

Very rarely will a job advertisement include the words: “Creative Writer” in the job title, so be sure that you are aware that many jobs that involve creative writing aren’t always just about writing.

THE #1 PROBLEM SKYBLOCK COINS SHOP WILL SOLVE BY

game

Cryptocon is a cryptocurrency summit and barcamp being held in Sydney and Singapore this July. The event will play host to entrepreneurs, investors, enthusiasts and thought leaders in the digital currency space. The emphasis will be on regional leaders of this emerging technology.

As an introduction to the event, and to promote awareness, Cryptocon recently asked some of its speakers a single pointed and direct question: “What is the number one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015?”

The answers are as revealing as any presentation or speech. See how some of the Cryptocon speakers answered:

Roger Ver – Blockchain, ‘Bitcoin Jesus’:

“By the end of 2015 I hope that Bitcoin will enable people to be able to transact with other individuals across the planet, without requiring permission from a bank or government.”

Antony Lewis – Business Development Manager at itBit:

“I’m going to assume ‘Bitcoin’ can also mean ‘the Bitcoin community’ and say that the number one problem I hope the Bitcoin community will solve by the end of 2015 is the education of the public and policy makers about the power that decentralised currencies can bring to enrich humanity, by decreasing transaction costs and enabling more people to participate in global finance.”. Learn more about SKYBLOCK COINS SHOP

Jon Matonis – Executive Director at the Bitcoin Foundation:

“The number one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015 is the ability to provide a realistic and viable alternative to central bank issued currencies.”

Tomas Forgac – Founder at Coin-Of-Sale:

“It is not certain whether the complete monetary meltdown will be accomplished by 2015, but there is little doubt in my mind, that by then, we will be in the middle of the largest economic crisis in the history of the world and there is no doubt governments and central banks will repeat the same failed recipes that would have got them there in the first place.

Bitcoin should provide savers and businesses with a convenient, reliable and stable exit strategy from what will continue to be relentless effort by governments and central banks to prop up economies they failed, bail out toxic banks they continued to support when they were already too big to save, beat each other in debasing their currencies in order to satisfy the export lobby and most importantly printing their way out of the debt they bloated. And, protection against currency wars and expected inflationary response to the upcoming financial and economic crisis.”

Matthew Cridland – Tax Partner at DLA Piper Australia:

“…the Australian tax and GST treatment of Bitcoin mining and Bitcoin transactions that occur within Australia. The Australian Taxation Office has indicated that it will release public guidance on its views on these issues around 30 June 2014.”

Anson Zeall – Founder of Coinpip:

“…the basic banking facilities that aren’t available to the majority of emerging and frontier market consumers and merchants today.”

Chris Guzowski – Founder at Australian Bitcoin ATMs:

“The number one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015 is the delay and cost of personal international fund transfers.”

James Snodgrass – Principal at Forsyth Real Estate, Sydney:

“The number one problem I hope that Bitcoin will resolve by the end of 2015 is the cost and processing time of transacting through the major banks. Hopefully banks and other institutions will decrease their fees associated with the transfer of funds and will make the processing time more efficient and effective.”

James Cox – Co-Founder at Ripple Singapore:

“…the concentration of mining power. I think many of us have been stunned at the exponential rise in difficulty. I wrote a book largely about the power of the exponential function and still seemed to underestimate it. Whilst it helps secure the network, the resulting concentration of mining power concerns me on a philosophical and economic level.”

Simon Dixon – CEO & Founder at BankToTheFuture:

The number one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015 is making it so that people don’t care how it works, because it is so easy to use.

Jonathan Levin – Co-founder at Coinometrics:

The one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015 is creating a transparent and efficient fee system. Currently in Bitcoin, very small fees are paid on transactions to limit the amount of network traffic. Over the coming year, the price charged for a Bitcoin transaction will hopefully reflect the cost borne to the network for processing a transaction. If this happens Bitcoin, will be a truly decentralised marketplace for the transfer of value with participants through behaving in their own self-interest achieve something great. This would be revolutionary.

Andras Kristof – Founder at Tembusu:

The number one problem that I hope Bitcoin will solve by the end of 2015 is the financial integration of the unbanked millions of southeast asia, south america and africa.

Jason Williams – Founder at BitPOS:

“In my role as a bitcoin payment gateway provider, one of the things we keep butting up against, day in and day out, is the perception that bitcoin is used mostly to buy drugs. In an abstract sense, I really hope that bitcoin will solve this repetitional problem.

I’m working on this problem in my startup BitPOS, and in capacity as the president of the Bitcoin Association of Australia. I’m finding there are more people of varied backgrounds getting involved in the regional meet ups in Australia and it is through these grass roots movements that we’ll find perceptions changing.

While we as a global community have embraced bitcoin, we need to do more. We need to reach out to the decision makers and influencers of the world, and we need to let them know crypto currencies are here to stay. We need to let them know they’re legal and legitimate ways to transfer value between each other.”

Tristan Winters – Business Development at iceCUBED.

“In one word; war. I hope Bitcoin will end war by 2015.

The state can only finance endless war through inflation or taxation. That’s it. There is an upper limit on the amount they can tax. Inflation has no such restrictions.

If we all use non-government money then the state is out of options and hard out of luck.

In the words of John Lennon, ‘War is over…if you want it.’ Choose Bitcoin. End war.”

Eight is a Lucky Togel Number

game

Most casinos use web addresses based on card combinations or catchy names, but very few use numeric domains. One exception is 888.com.

888.com isn’t a new casino, however. It’s one of the domain names used by casino giant Casino on Net.

Casino on Net, established in 1996, is one of the grandfathers of online gaming. Since that time, millions of players have downloaded their top-notch casino package, which includes Blackjack, Video Poker, Roulette, Slots, Craps and Baccarat.

But why use the 888.com domain as well as CasinoOnNet.com (and Casino-On-Net.com)? There are two reasons.

First, the number eight is considered lucky in Chinese culture and is highly sought after in phone numbers, addresses, and bank account numbers. It foreshadows prosperity and brings added confidence. The phonetic sound of eight in the Cantonese and Mandarin languages is also similar to the word for prosperity.

Eight can even be worth money to people who get their hands on it. License plates in Hong Kong with an eight in them can sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Telephone area codes with eight in them are also very popular with the Chinese community. Monterey Bay, California uses the 818 area code, and is the only city in the continental U.S. with an Asian majority.

Not every Chinese person believes that eight is a Togel symbol of good luck, but Chinese gamblers certainly do. And Casino on Net is counting on the 888.com domain to attract them to the casino.

The other reason why this domain was created is a little more obvious, and maybe more relevant, for the rest of the online gambling community. 888.com is easy to remember and easy to spell.

Casino on Net offers players a choice of free-play or real money games, as well as a 20% sign-up bonus. The casino features reviewed payouts from PricewaterhouseCoopers, 24/7 technical and customer support, prompt cash-out, and one of the best reputations in the online casino business.

Omni Casino Sponsors Tennis Tournament

Omni Casino – With a reputation for leading the way in the online gaming industry, it isn’t surprising that Omni Casino is once again about to do what no other online gaming company has ever done.

Omni will be the first online casino ever to officially sponsor a tennis tournament. Omni will be sponsoring The Hamlet Cup International Series on the ATP Tour, which takes place in Long Island, New York from August 18 to 26, 2001. In conjunction with the tennis tournament, Omni Casino will be giving one of their lucky members $150,000 more than the winner of the US Open Tennis Tournament through its $1,000,000 U.S. Open Challenge.

Starting July 1, 2001, all new players will receive an added $20 free to use at the casino on a minimum deposit of $20 when opening their account. New account holders will automatically be eligible for the million-dollar prize in Omni’s $1,000,000 U.S. Open Challenge.

Omni’s staff has also decided to double the monthly bonus. Members who make an initial deposit of $150 each month will receive an extra $50 free for use in playing at Omni Casino. This extra $50 may be just what a player needs to win the highest online casino jackpot, which is available at Omni Casino. The jackpot for Omni’s Rags to Riches Slots game is currently at $274,586.39 and continues to climb every minute.

These are just a few of the things that are going on at Omni Casino. Omni Casino’s mission is, “To provide the greatest level of gaming entertainment and enjoyment, with the highest level of security and customer care, and do it all with a smile.”
