A staggering 9/10 of all injections given in Pakistan are unnecessary.

At the end of 2010 Marc returned from Pakistan with the agreement and backing from the President and his office, to implement a Safe Injections for Pakistan campaign (SI4P).

The project will run along side their already launched hepatitis initiative. SafePoint have made and donated a new LifeSaver film in Urdu along with the LifeSaver campaign logo to assist with the launch:

Action being taken:

The Sindh Assembly passed a bill on Wednesday 12th January 2011 aiming to regulate and control the manufacturing, selling and the use of re-using syringes.  Penalties of at lease two years imprisonment have been suggested:
